Redevelopment of IP Power Plant for Government offices took place in order for DSIIDC to make arrangements for a temporary office building with 2000 sqm area.  This had to be settled adjacent to the administration block of I.P. bus depot for accommodation of DTC headquarters till the commencement of the construction of the multi-storied office building. The Bus Depot existing at I.P. Estate is being re-modeled to provide a state of the art office building for DTC Head Quarters. The site has been structured into operational and non-operational areas.

The proposal involves DTC headquarter building within 25% ground coverage to enable maximum office space and an interesting skyline varying from GF to 11 floors and to form a harmony with the surroundings. The design is proposed with two basements to fulfill the parking requirement. Stack car parking has been introduced to maximize the number of car parks in the minimum area, and the balance car parking has been provided as surface parking. Separate entry exit for buses and the  office vehicles have been designed for smooth flow of traffic.
