The revised masterplan for the campus of 325 acres harmoniously integrates natural and existing features as the campus expands from 2500 to 8500 students.

The Institute has expanded rapidly to meet the multifold expansion demands. Compactly developed, state of the art facilities & first of its kind Academic complex comprising of Lecture theatres (60 to 500 capacity) stacked in 3 levels, multi-level Labs & Engineering  Laboratory  blocks, is bound by green strip on one side & rich lawns are proposed to be developed on the north. The project is slated for GRIHA certification.

The Student Housing, Hostels and Faculty-cum-staff Housing that are completed are considered as the best on campus and probably in all IITs with unmatched natural light & ventilation, besides, solar lighting, solar heating, physically disabled friendly facilities. A pilot captive solar power generating plant has been designed as the cafetaria roof.
