The Medical College cum Hospital is a multi-specialty 2200 Bedded hospital enrolling 100 students every year and spread over 100 acres in Darbhanga, Bihar. The Darbhanga Medical College and Hospital has been a reputed Institution since 1925. The need of the redevelopment aims at scaling up the bed capacity upto 2200 beds across phases and increase the annual intake for the medical college for 150 seats in conformance with MCI guidelines.

HOSPITAL FACILITIES

– Extending the existing bed capacity of upto 2200 bedded hospital across phases including 200 bedded super speciality hospital block.

– OPD requirement has gone multi-fold.

– Patient relatives & visitors lack facilities in the existing campus.

– Integrated hospital and medical college in the DMCH campus  with 150 intake

– Master plan to have provision for all allied facilities & Utilities to support medical college & Hospital.

– Adequate parking through podium/stilt floors shall be ensured and adequate circulation pattern shall be maintained.
