The Centre would aim at improving the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of neurological diseases and injuries by creating state-of-the-art facilities to offer timely as well as the best treatment for neurological and neurosciences disorders. Additional facilities that would be provided shall include brain suite, mapping, invasive neuro-physiological techniques and advanced imaging technology. It would also act as a training centre for neuro-specialists from across the country.

The proposed institution is spread over 2.96 acres of land out of a total of 297acres of PGIMER site. It consists of the following components :

– Registration, Emergency  (32 beds), Radiology OPD, Treatment Rooms, support areas, waiting Hall, Offices, Conference hall, Telemedicine room, Labs, 274 bed – Ward + 26 Private room, 50 Bed ICU, O.T. Complex – 10 O.T.
